The space
Very clean, newly remodeled ( new king size, super comfortable bed, breezy room with two large windows providing good cross ventilation (ocean and mountain breeze) on second floor with expansive views including distant oceanview . Comes with all amenities;furnished with linens, towels, wifi and small refrigerator.
Thorough cleaning done between guests; freshly laundered sheets and towels, even pillows goes in the wash / dryer for sanitation.

Well maintained clean bathroom with tub and all accessories ( soap, shampoo, etc.. Even new toothbrushes should you need one). Shared guest bathroom. Have extra outside toilet and an outdoor hot shower for guests use as well.
Help yourself to year round tropical fruits such as bananas, papayas, and seasonal fruits such as passion fruits, oranges, tangerines, etc, that are usually in abundance in the kitchen. The famous Hilo Farmers Market is (short drive downtown) is where we get our fruits. Tea and coffee always on hand for guests. Breads and spreads as well as oat meals usually available as well. All complimentary.

Peaceful lanai ( ocean facing) for quite reading or just watching spectacular Hilo sunrises.
Full access to fully equipped kitchen should you want to prepare a meal.

Situated in a nice, safe neighborhood in tempered weather Waiakea Uka, Hilo. Easy to find yet off set from the road and away from traffic; lots of vegetation, organic garden. Ceiling fan in room, bedroom fitted with very comfortable queen bed.

Walking distance from the golf course ( with small eatery open 7 days a week, open at 6:30 am. A small walking County Park accessible down the road. Home conveniently located 4.8 miles from Hilo Medical Center and Hilo Public Library, approx. 6 to 7 miles from Hilo Airport and about 4 to 5 miles from downtown Hilo, Puanako shopping center, Wall-Mart, Ross, and Prince Kuhio Theater approx. 3 to 4 miles down.

FYI : got another small room listed under ‘small room with ocean view’ listed on this site for additional guests. Discount applicable should you want to book both at the same time.

During your stay
I love getting to know my guests as I find most everybody and their unique stories interesting so whenever I’m not working and my guests not rushing, I love catching up and ‘shooting the breeze’.

Other things to note
Just to be clear, this is my home that I’m sharing with guests by renting out rooms via air b&b and and have thoroughly enjoyed guests from all over the world. Looking forward to sharing our space and blessings with you !:)
